Music and Sport at Casterton

The interests and needs of our pupils are richly diverse. We will provide new and improved facilities which will allow all who pass through our doors, at any age, the opportunity to find their passion and develop their skills.

The start of many a Sedberghian’s journey is at Casterton, Sedbergh Prep School. Enhancing Music and Sports at Casterton is a critical part of developing the entrepreneurs of the future. Creativity and teamwork foster mental growth in children by providing opportunities for trying out new ideas, new ways of critical thinking, and early adoption of a problem-solving attitude to learning.

These skills are multidisciplinary and will provide the very best foundation from which our youngest Sedberghians can grow as they follow their Sedbergh journey into the Senior School.

The Music Block will be developed into a state of the art new facility enabling future growth in this area whilst ensuring current pupils have access to the very best teaching and learning experiences.

The Sports Hall will be refurbished to revitalise what is currently a tired and unwelcoming space. Refreshed infrastructure will provide an engaging and competitive home to Prep School sports.
